Pushing yourself

A lot of people push their mind and body hard everyday, we don’t get enough rest and don’t eat right. How do you know you are over doing it, exhausted, hypertension. I push myself to hard exercising but I make sure I take care of myself after. Pushing to hard with exercise can cause injuries, fatigue and mental exhaustion. As we get older joints and tendons age to and don’t repair themselves like muscle so care should be taken when exercise. Family and friends can stress you out and push hard with their needs, you have to take me time to recouperate. If you don’t learn to relax and destress it puts pressure on your mind and body, try to relax for at least 24 hours and take some time off from life if possible. Meditation helps me I just close my eyes and clear my mind and don’t think about anything it does take time to getting used to it but it is worth it. I think everyone needs their me time to relax from over doing it it help with blood pressure and can help your heart.
I could keep going on and on about how pushing yourself too hard is harmful, but we all know that. You are the only you and you are responsible for your own health. My main goal in my healthy life is no drugs, no pain and be happy that I make that decision not my doctor or any one else. I do push myself too hard at the gym but have gotten older and wiser. Work and family I don’t allow to push me that hard anymore. Life is short and the stress is not worth it. I realize school, family, work, gym and relationships can make you push yourself and feel like you have to keep going. But you have to decide what is more important take small bites of each not big and don’t get overwhelmed.

( Consult with you doctor before exercise )

Stress me out

Stress can cause several health problems, like high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes and obesity. Getting less sleep, fatigue, anxiety and headaches. You have to look deep in yourself and your activities and your inner self to learn more about what is causing your stress. Is it money, kids, bills your partner or it could be it’s work. Some ways to help with stress is me time for yourself like going into the bedroom and laying down and listening to your favorite music and forgetting about everything.
Exercise and food can help relieve stress foods high in magnesium and B vitamins. Foods like nuts, spinach, broccoli, bananas and lean meats. Reducing inflammation and metabolizing cortisol are important for reducing stress. Alcohol, soda, caffeine and high sugar foods increase cortisol which can increase stress. A good diet, exercise and getting enough sleep are easy ways for a stress free life.
Stress can pop up at any second we are human. But sometimes we bring stress on ourselves that is the ones we can control. I use diet and exercise to control mine I try to be as natural as I can. If I’m stressed or angry which is rare I take it out at the gym with weights. Distressing with exercise also releases Endorphins which helps you feel better. Healthy and fit for a happy life.
