Getting over the flu, covid or a cold and going back to the gym can be a hard task. One day you may feel great and get into your workout only to find you are winded and your lungs hurt half way through. If you’re an athlete you understand the importance of being able to exercise to keep your strength and stamina up. If you’re just keeping fit and healthy it still can be hard to keep exercising but being consistent is very important. It can take weeks do fully heal from lung related illness, you have good days and bad days. I am getting over the flu and it’s been 3 weeks since I got sick, but on my good days I went to the gym and did the best I could at lifting weights. I figured if I could get one exercise in per muscle group that would help plus I took longer breaks in-between sets. I’m not worried about losing muscle or strength it getting off my routine, if I take to much time off the gym I will get used to not going.
Building your immune system up is on way to help fight off sickness. Some people build their system with vitamins and minerals but when trying to take more micro nutrients it can be dangerous so I would get advice from your doctor before doing so. Elderberry, echinacna and tumeric are natural ways to build your system but as always in moderation. I choose natural over supplements because my body can benefit from them in a natural way. Just take it slow and don’t get irritated and impulsive and you will be on top of your game in a short time.
