I only buy what I need very rarely do I buy something just for fun. When I was younger I didn’t save much, then I got married and never saved money. Divorced and older I save and invest which is why I only buy what I need. One other way I help my budget is to pick days that I don’t spend money it can be hard but I save money that way.

Needs first
I budget usually by paying bills first then my wants and needs like food. I eat basically the same food all the time and it is not expensive but animals food is probably three times my food but they come first. Gas is usually the same every week I don’t do entertainment very often, I save the rest that is let over from that paycheck.
