I was selling pianos door to door in the south east, which was a job in it’s self I was in my early 20’s. I got to go to new and strange places (at least to me they were) I had a friend riding a long with me. I got directions at night over the telephone with my mini cassette recorder, I had a map and a recording in this strange place. It was a lot of fun navigating to the people’s house then trying to sell a piano. I got a speeding ticket in one town because I was just driving along and suddenly there was two 90 degree turns and the police sitting there. I didn’t sell anything that trip but we had a lot of fun. That was my first and last piano selling job.
